Liebre Sawmill Trail 4/14/2012

A buddy and I went up to Liebre this weekend.

It was still semi raining on the way there.

Temp was around 39 degrees and there was plenty of snow on the ground.

A short way up the trail there was a mayor washout that we had to check out to make sure we were not going to slide off.

We went up the trail a couple miles and it was muddy and then snow that was fresh with no tire marks.

It was a great day to check it out and I can't wait to go back when it's nicer out.

Should have gotten more pics as the washout was pretty nasty.

I am not sure where this place is at or if it is even in SoCal. Looks like a muddy road in the snow covered mountains.

The road definitely exist, been down it myself. The old Ridge route is very interesting as some of the tavern/inn structures have some parts still standing. Nice views from up there.
