Yes...I went up last Saturday through Indian Truck Trail. Lots of mountain bikers. Looks like they were having some knd of club run. They had tents/water stations up at Santiago Peak. I took Indian Truck Trail through to Maple Creek out the Main Satiago Canyon gate.

I like Bedfor Canyon myself. There's some pretty challenging off-shoots if your feeling bullet proof

It was an easy fire road with no use for 4x4. I actually saw a honda accord going up on my way down the peak.

You think a big, lifted, mud tire, Ford V10 Excursion 2wd with trackloc could make that run?

Hey guys, I'm a Jersey transplant (I know, I know), I just moved out to Long Beach for my job and of course brought my 01 TJ with me. She sits on 31X10.5x15 BFG A/T's with a 2.5" RC suspension lift. Nothing crazy she is my DD and a weekend warrior. I have been looking for some local Jeepers to hit some trails with seeing as I moved out here knowing 3 people in the whole state lol. If anyone wants to do some wheeling and show a newb around some trails this weekend, or any other, I would appreciate it! PM me if you would like, thanks guys!

I live in Long Beach as well with my 94 YJ on 31's and a 4" lift. Been trying to get back up to the peak for a while now. I know a few of these guys have gone the last couple weeks and I just haven't been able to make it. This weekend is probably bad as well due to Easter unless it's fairly early Saturday. I've always gone up off the 74. It's about an hour and a half from Long Beach. Give or take.

Do any of you have kids? If so, do you bring them? I have a 6-year old.

I have an 8 year old and take him with me every chance I get. Only problem is he lives with his mom in Michigan. He comes out a couple times a year though. My girlfriend has a 12 year old and he loves it as well. Definitely bring your kids!

How did your tranny cooler work?

I went up to Wildomar OHV to check out things. Only for an hour and had to go. Wanted to check out Bad Idea... looks doable. Didn't have time to disconnect and make the run. Next time.

Born/raised in LB too, went to Lakewood HS. Left there in '66 to join the military, it sure has changed in the downtown area from when I grew up.

What's funny is that a lot of the guys on this thread are from Riverside where I was born and raised. I went to Arlington High...it's a small world!
