Hey guys, looking for a place to do tent camping with restrooms and running water. I live in Moreno valley and I'm thinking a 50 mile radius at most.
Any suggestions?

We can tent camp right?turdhurdler said:Kids are always a welcome addition to the runs. We all love kids, especially with ketchup. Mmmmm, kiddikabobs... Just kidding. We have had several members bring thier kids along for the Meet n Greets or even for simple day runs. Heck, I even took my mother out for a run a while back. So pack up the little one and come on out. As for the showers, the campsite has them.

That looks awesome. Thanks beanBeantownR6 said:how so? holcomb valley is open year round. did you call the discovery center?
i don't know how up to date this site is but it says open. http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/sbnf/recarea/?recid=26385
but i cant imagine the forrest roads are closed to 6 insches of snow. this was in jan, and some of the fire raods had alot more snow than this.
I called the discovery center and I asked about the Serrano camp site. They told me it was closed. So I asked if there was anything in big bear or lake arrowhead and they said nothing was available. Maybe due to the weatherBeantownR6 said:where did you hear the campgrounds are closed? i tried to call the discovery center last night but was too late, and they are not open till thursday. im still planning on going, can't wait to snow camp! are you going?
Seven oaks is always open, just no services in the winter. April 1 is full opening. The owners check the campers daily and may or may not collect a fee.brightsidememe said:I called the discovery center and I asked about the Serrano camp site. They told me it was closed.
