Sweet thank you for the offer! I'll go out today and pick up a pair. I've been slacking on getting them for awhile and this is a good motivation. I'm excited this will be my first run.

So many jeeps! We rolled into Georgetown, and it looked like a jeep invasion had taken over the town! Jeeps left in waves towards the snow! Our wave lined up just before the snow got thick to air down and prepare for the upcoming craziness!

Stumpy Meadows was a beautiful site as we passed over the dam.

Our group of 8 were well under way when the fun began with our first casulty. I gladly gave up my curse of the cow bell to said recipient!

A little tug is all it took to get us moving as the adventure continued.

Of course, one must stop to behold the awesomeness of the beautiful country we are blessed with in NorCal!

More to come......

Cont....
Well, things proceeded to get more interesting as Gene became the next victim to the evil cow bell! Truth be known, Gene tried his damnest to get stuck and finally succeeded!

A little help from friends.

And the carnage continued. Next!

Yep, more...

We finally made it to Uncle Tom's Cabin.

It was busy, so we went to the overflow parking, lol!

We proceeded to keep going after UTC to see how far we could get. In retrospect, we should have went back from UTC, but hey, what fun would that be!

Then it was leep frog the rest of the way back due to traffic.

Good times!

Those last couple of pics was fun. There was a hole and all 3 jeeps I had to winch through. But there was a buggy that just ripped right on over it. Good to meet you up there. I heard there was like a 3.5hr traffic jam after we winched you guys out and headed up the hill. Lucky for us all 5 Jeeps made it over to Ice House Rd. But it was very powdery on the other side of the cattle guard.

That's a great picture of my hood in the last shot.

That hood was awesome! Nicely built Jeep you have, and thanks for pulling us thru the nasty spots. We made it as far as the cattle guard and turned around. In retrospect, I wish we would've kept going so we could go out via Icehouse. What a cluster going back!

It got ugly after the cattle guard. But it might of taken less time to keep going for sure.

Summit Springs Run Feb 16th. I'd post a link, but I'm on my iPhone. It's in the California section.
