Short answer is NO.

For this trail 33's min with two lockers, 35's and larger with one.

Also with the trail, rock rails and under carriage protection are a must. Front and rear aftermarket bumpers recommended. You will hit, knock, rock and bang on this trail.

On this trail the rocks will roll under you. We had all four corners (wheels) up on separate rocks and we shifted to passenger on all four corners. This wasn't the only time they shifted on us. Took a nice hard bang with it. Armor is really necessary on this trail. We had one individual with out armor, he took his jeep in for some upgrages. He informed me they spent several hrs under his rig banging things back out due to not having armor. This guy was on 35's an unlocked front and rear. He ended up taking a winch tug towards the end of the trail. Also being a JK would recommend lower rear shock skids. Not for just for this trail but in general.

Steve, let us know how Dave (white JK) does on the run with his new mods. Am betting he does much better.

With all that said, don't think of this trail as a JEEP crusher. It is very doable, and was a blast to run. Would recommend at the very least you get a ride along with someone to experience it.

Woknrox I think I may be able to join if that's cool.

I'm waiting for my brother to confirm copilot duties hopefully today. This trail looks legit!

I will post up once he says yes.

Everybody, do not forget that this Sunday is daylight saving time, we spring forward. So adjust your watches the night before. You do not want to miss this run.

I'm looking forward to this.

Joe.

Yea Im really sad I didnt get to go, everything feel apart last minute and we acquired a young pup which only made matters worse!

So my brother just flaked on me for copilot duties but I hit all my friends up trying to find someone to ride with me. If I can find someone I'm coming for sure. I haven't been out since Calico and its killing me...

That's funny. I was kind of looking for someone I could talk to not just a warm body lol! Although maybe said person would come with some breakfast burritos and inherently well versed in Mickey Mouse on fly fixes.

I got a bunch if invites out so well see. Can't believe people went banging down the door to ride with me. It's a friggin jeep crawling trough rocks!!!

2n17x is really fun. Last time we ran it, a stock jkur made it through. Not a walk in the park, but very technical.

Maybe I will meet you guys at the start of that trail. Who can I contact here to see when you might get to the trail heard?

Man I'm not even gonna take a guess as to what time we'll get out of Marble Canyon yet alone a time frame of arrival at 2n17x....looks like we're all purdy well hooked up but that's a nasty canyon and never the same twice

Oh man it is not that nasty. More like an extened version of the main rock garden on Holcomb but not continuously so. Yeah, the rocks move but that adds to the excitement.

This trail is really a good time. People, its not one 4 or 5 mile rock garden. Think of it like this, 50 or so yds of rock crawling and crawling rocks then about the same and sometimes more of basically fire roads. You will have so much fun on this trail it will be over before ya know it. Some may even want to go back down it instead of doing 2n17x. Think we spent more time having trail meetings then actually wheeling.

Looking forward to the pics and videos.

Oh you will like this...

Rumor was, "Fire all the contractors so we don't have to sequester". Oh we rolled. My gov't lead can't open the safe as he doesn't know the combination, let alone the password to the system. We won't even begin to guess what would happen if he had to run a test.

There were other rumors but back to wheelin for now.

Here's the issue ...We're gonna have a bigger group than the one u were on....and I'm sure more than just 2 people(myself & CJ Tom) r gonna want to run the gatekeeper and finish the trail...witch will also add some time over the trip u were on..not to mention possible problems ...and I don't want a guy who drove almost a 100 miles waiting for us at the next trailhead....
know what I'm saying...

The "fire road" spaces between rock gardens r just over 5 jeep lengths long on the longest one...so that means that with a group more then 6 jeeps there will always be parts of the group on rock gardens and will make for alot of spotting time...

But this is like u said a very fun trail...hints to why its one of my all time favorites ....I'm sure it'll be for some of these guys too..
