Marble Canyon and 2n17x Black Dimond trails... March 10th

We we'll be doing a double header here...we're runnin Marble Canyon 1st and then we'll run 2n17X.
We will be meeting at Hesperia Lakes on Arrowhead lakes rd in Hesperia @8:30am Sunday the 10th ....minimal requirements do to the amount of trails we r going to run r minimum of 33inch tires, few inches of lift and at least 1 locker (even with that expect a tug if not 2) and tow hooks front and back!
Once ur in Marble Canyon there is NO turning back!
Bring a lunch and make sure u start off with a full tank of gas....
Channel 4 on the CB....
This is gonna be a fun day of wheelin!

I have not heard of this Marble Canyon and I see nothing when I look for it. What is it and where is it?

I'm about 80% there. Should know for sure next week. Still trying to convince the wife to go on a trip but even Cleghorn scared her and that was the last time she went with me. If anyone has a video of Marble Canyon, please post so I can see if it's something she might go on.

To me this means you are free. Wife at a bridal shower and you are doing what? Waiting outside in the car for her?

The canyon took us about 3 hrs to get through the last time with 6 well built rigs and that time includes fixin one's PSC (30min) and then anothers tie rod that got bent (45min). This canyon has fairly large rocks/boulders that will move while you are crawling over them. Hence, Marble Canyon. The women folk spent most of the time out of the jeeps, yappin. (oh I am gonna pay for that comment)

I have to wait outside and hold her purse...

I should have specified: To me that means I stay home and hang with the kids. I have 2 boys, a 1 yo and 4 yo. I might be able to make it if I can find a baby sitter for the 1 yo, then bring the 4 yo. Probably a long shot though. Damn! I really want to run 2n17x again and try Marble Cyn!!

Yep ...that's why its called Marble Canyon!
Everyone that run through it will take a completely different line from the jeep ahead of them because the rocks roll around right under ur tires...sweet!

Hey DaK...I sent an invite to Dave with the white Jk from the club....now that he's got his air lockers new gears and some disconnects ....he'll have some fun!

If you aren't coming right out and saying, "it's out of your league Phil" - then I guess that means I'm in. That Cherokee has dragged me thru Calico, Cleghorn, White Mtn, and Dishpan Springs, with totally open diff in the past. I'll do my best to keep up and not break anything. Thanx

I was trying to get more info on marble canyon and found this out of Charles A wells book California back roads & 4-wheel drive trails. It's off the 190 in Death Valley and rated moderate. I'm guessing this is not the same one right?...

That is one old wells book. I don't think you are allowed back there any longer.

That is not the correct Marble Canyon.
