Well my friend in his toyota is still coming. Just in a different toyota then I thought. He sold his SAS 87 with front and back lockers and is taking his 2012 4Runner...... be prepared for entertainment.... he took his superduty through the Cleghorn..... twice. Hahaha. Atleast he knows what he is doing.

Thanks! I managed to sell my hardtop and hard upper doors (that I never used) so I had a lot of fun money. It seemed only right to put it right back into the Jeep. The only problem is that I'm still running the cheap ass Skyjacker suspension that I got before I every intended to crawl up and over a rock. It's done fine so far, but now I wish I had ponied up for something better to start with.

There's always my birthday and Christmas I guess...

That is a thought, I will see how things work out. Last time I was up there we attempted to run it backwards but someone had mechanical problems and we never made it.

Hey Jeff, I would to join but we are headed to Palm Desert for Mothers day. Have a good time, that was a fun trail. My son and I did it.

Put me down as a maybe. Have some friends that have wanted to do a day run with us (in our Jeep) and Cleghorn is nice and chill for them I think. Its been many years since I was there. It is fairly low key, yeah?

I always get a little chuckle when people describe Cleghorn as easy and low key. I will agree with that if you stay on the fire roads, but if you take the side trails be ready for some rocks, off camber, and fairly steep down-hills with a few ledges.

It is a fun run but not all that easy on the side trails.

BTW, add me as a maybe. I have not wheeled in a couple months, I was supposed to go last weekend but my daughter reminded me it was her birthday and I needed to spend some money.

Ha ha, needed to spend some money! Hey that's what my kids do. I agree on Cleghorn not being easy, there are challenging sections that will definitely get your attention especially when your expecting "easy".
