It is a fun run but not all that easy on the side trails.
haha. yes easy might be overstating it a bit. I ran it years ago with a stock TJ and while we had some pucker moments, it wasn't too intense. Of course I may just be remembering it incorrectly now that its been so long.

Now that you say that, I do remember everyone having to pile onto one side of each vehicle at one point to keep it from rolling while navigating over a huge rock while simultaneously straddling a large V shaped trench. hmmmm

No worries if someone gets stuck or needs a tug or two. Our runs are always fun and a good time in the dirt.

So,who wants to join in for a dusty day on the trail?

I've not been here before as i mentioned. The Cleghorn exit is off the 15 correct? Is this where the 138 and the 15 intersect? tried to figure it out on Google maps but that was as useless as teets on a boar hog.

Also change to the definite list.

That could work Steve, I am trying to take Thursday & Friday off if all goes well. I should know by end of day today or early tomorrow...That should give you enough time to develop some symptoms...

Not yet, I did remove the paint from where it mounts to the base. Hopefully that will allow me more than a yelling distance for transmitting and receiving.

I don't think so for the most part, there are a couple spots that have puddles. I hate mud, but not too worried about it....

I know you just don't want to get that Jeep dirty...

I know it is going to get dirty just wondering how dirty. I still am finding mud from Ocotillo and that was several months ago.

Plus Cleghorn is dangerous when its muddy. Didn't you see that picture of Minisaba? Talking about crazy!

Jeff...Unfortunately I will not be able to attend this Saturday. I have to keep telling myself there will be plenty more runs or I will fly off the handle.

Have fun and take lots of pictures. I will see you at the next meeting.

Nick

Just so you know, my friends don't want to do anything "crazy" the first time they ride along, and I planned to hang with them on this day so not gonna make this one. Definitely will catch you guys another time though. Would love to do Cleghorn (or others) with y'all. (and no not just the easy stuff)

Bring them along, there are bypasses for all the hard spots, and who knows once they are on the trail they could change their minds.

Have fun out there ya'll! Wish I could join. Was just there last weekend.
It was a lot of fun. Got a fun picture when I was backing onto this clearing for lunch.

There were 50-60mph gusts but no mud when we were up there. Pretty cool to have clouds swirling around us.
