Miller is a little far for people who live in LA/Orange etc, it's a good thing I don't care how far Calico, Big Bear and Cougar Buttes are..becasue if I did, I wouldn't wheel as much as I do. I figure the 3.5 hour drive to get there is priceless.

For the 6 months Miller is open, I will take full advantage of it though. For me, all I need is a trail and someone to camp with...I don't need 50 to do it and have fun

Many drove hours last week to do Miller...you just missed out on that one!
It's far for me! We're on the same page though, I don't really care how far away I have to drive, as long as there are good friends and stuff to drive over

Well then, we shall wheel often BTW, there's more than just Miller out here...there's gorgeous trails surrounding it...Yellow Jacket, 118 and 119. Also 111,112 and 113...and BC109. Beautiful trails, some with a few little rocks; nothing major but gorgeous butterflies, bunnies and deer. Some cool things to see like HUGE trees and areas to chill and have lunch around some water...so it's more than just Miller

Once a month! Hopefully more! I''m really looking forward to it! It will be the first time I test out the new suspension, unless I have time before then to go somewhere local.

Booo!!

Quite a few can't make this Miller run..that's OK; we'll drink to you!

We are doing Big Bear June 28th and have reserved sites already...Also, I am playing with the idea of a Calico trip before then as well..

I might actually end up having Friday off, I changed my request today! I didn't feel like having to move a bunch of heavy boxes and then drive for 3 hours like last time. So a caravan might be in our future!

If you don't link up with Bernie, we can always link up on the 5 N in Castiac at 330p. From there, it's not much further to the flying J...like 30 minutes..we'll get gas and hit camp

Lorie, did you explain to Brett that we could take him up but he will need to be blindfolded? He needs to drive up blindfolded while one of us spots him up the mountain with the CB as part of the executive initiation ritual?

I mean, if we all did it...

Sounds like needing some liquid courage!! I mean, if you're not up to getting it done sober to be initiated, that's fine.

Not everyone can or has been able to complete this...we could just add another one to the list.

Oh Hell No!!! Nobody took it easy on us. I had to do the blindfold thing, while driving backwards uphill and holding a handheld CB with spotty reception in the pouring rain. Lol

I'll do it while hitting the clutch with my hand, steering with my forehead, and shifting with my feet!

If your clutching with your hands, then I challenge you to do it backwards, and steer with your butt cheeks. Lol
