I wish I could but my wife has plans for me for tomorrow. As soon as I got home from miller she had me out trimming trees. Had a great time on miller though, great group today.

Randog - thanks for organizing this (dusty) run! A little bit of a drive to get there, but worth the time. It only took me 4 hours Sun morning to clean the Jeep!

AND (here is the great part) NO powdercoat scratches!!!

Yeah mine is still dirty but I did get Viair off and it was toast! It look like it seized and had damage to the cylinder and piston. Called Viair and had to buy a new compressor cause this one was one month out of warrantee, Ouch!

I have the 400 and it will fill a 35in just under 5min they also have a 450 which is heavy duty cycle but it takes over 6.5 min to fill a 35in. I don't know how that can be. Look at the ARBs they are the bomb but they cost a whole bunch more. Maybe you can get a packaged deal when you get that ARB refer? watch for the sales at 4xParts they always have sales on ARB stuff.

Your JK looks good get any scuffs on the undercarriage? I scraped the paint on the rear diff skid and that's about all. Didn't even feel that one.

Lets do this again soon...

Thanks Randog for letting me tag along with my whole pitcrew! I had lots of fun and learned a thing or two from you, Ted and Gary.

Good to Meet you Ted, LOVED the powdercoat on your Poison Spider Diff Covers . Gave me a few ideas of my own.

As for my rig, I had a few scratches on my transfer case skid, a big 12" dent on my fueltank skid, a scrape on the right rear front arm bracket and a small ding on the right rock guard.

I would love to run it again if you all will have me...I'd probly still run it with no doors, I love the smell, sight and taste of dirt in the morning!

Ferndog, the diff covers are hand painted - powdercoat insulates the heat and I dont want the heat to stay in the oil....The powdercoat is on all the rest of the Poison Spyder stuff...

Glad you had a great time, we did too. You can run with us anytime!

Well my next two, next month, are both camping trips. The first is to Kennedy Meadows on the 6th thru the 8th. Easy trails, way easier than Miller. The second is to Cougar Buttes on 9/21 to 9/22. Cougar Buttes is pretty extreme I normally ride in my buddies crawler but a real fun group to camp with.

Both are on weekdays, and I am pretty much unavailable weekdays . But should a run to big bear or the rubicon come along, I'll have to ask for time off.

I didn't take any pics at all, sorry. Thanks to randog for leading the way and putting the run together. As far as the Viair compressors go I have the 450c which fills tires a little slower than the smaller models because it runs a little slower. It runs slower so they can get the 100 percent duty cycle.

^^ I have the same viair 450 model and it is a little slower but it's reliable & will pump air practically non-stop!.. I highly recommend either the 400 or 450 models
