True, she had a hard time with us last time... she will probably have a heart attack if we come in with a larger group. I'm cool with Denny's... breakfast food is pretty much all the same wherever you go. It's pretty hard to screw up eggs, toast and bacon.

What exit will the Denny's or restaurant of choice be off of?

The Denny's is right there at the Flying J. See the address for Flying J on the first post. Exit is Frazier Mountain Park Rd.

Yah, this trip IS sounding like it's going to be a fun time. Calico's gonna be a fun run though. I'll see you then.

Well there is that one sharp right turn that even a 2-door has to do in three points if you don't know it's coming up and don't start going wide early enough. You'll probably have to do it in seven points though in your 4-door.

Well thanks to 2DEUCE2 threatening to bring his trail cover, the weather is looking pretty nice for this weekend's trip.

It looks like were gonna be camping instead of just the day trip. It will be myself plus a friend in another jeep. Is there anything in particular anybody would like us to bring for the potluck ?

The campsites have one fire ring with a small grate. If your barby isn't too much hassle to bring, it might come in handy.

That'd be pretty cool for me, but except for the person who's in the video, it does get a bit boring looking at the same one Jeep for the entire video. I bought some new gadgets for my GoPro, and I'm going to experiment with some new camera angles on this trip.

Awesome! Bring whatever you fancy. It seems we have no one bringing dessert yet though.

Damn, guys! This trip is sounding better and better all the time. I'm looking forward to an awesome weekend!

Oh, and also....Dutchman Camp has no table, and we're going to have quite a bit of food to lay out. If anyone has a table they can bring, that would sure help out. I'll be bringing the Libation Station (which won't help for the potluck, what with it's rules and all) plus one other table, and if it really looks like we need to, I can bring a third.

I have a small table I can bring. It's not much, but it is better than nothing. If we decide to head back down to camp at Sunset, there is one picnic table there. It might be kind of fun to do that if everyone is up for it. We get to go downhill and then have to do the best part of the trail all over again on Sunday morning. Plus you can cool down in the creek if you want to.

The only problem with Sunset is no toilets where Dutchman has a pit toilet at least. Big selling point for anyone bringing the wife.

I am really excited about this run. It's going to be a lot of fun!

I called Denny's to let them know that we've got a party of 18 coming in at 10:30 tomorrow morning. They don't normally take reservations, but they took down my info.

Rice is cooked and bagged up, Jeep is loaded, top and doors are off... I am so freaking ready! I did pack my cover just to make sure that the rain doesn't make an appearance!

SDJeepin, I've got your CRES packed, thanks again for taking it off my hands and getting it out of my garage.

I know this is Yomondo's run and some of you may already have a contact number, but a few of you are coming from further away than the rest of us and others have never been there, so I wanted to post a phone number for anyone to call if they are running late so we can help out with directions (if your like me, not everyone has a GPS... behind the times I guess) or wait if it isn't too long.

Brandon - 213.256.9308 (It's my company cell phone so I don't care about posting it on a public forum)

Can't wait to see everyone! I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve all over again!

Thanks Brandon.

I'm packing up the Jeep now. Couldn't do it last night because I park it in the driveway and it's stripped down. I'll see y'all soon!

That was a great trip guys! Thank you all for showing up. The wheeling was great, the food was great, just an outstanding time!

For those who had to cancel at the last minute, I'm sorry we missed you on this run.

For those who camped, you guys are animals. For the first time, the Libation Station went dry.

I've got 20 or so decent video snippets from the GoPro. It'll take me a few days to piece it all together though.
