We are going to try camping out the wife is pregnant but we have family. That lives up there if she is not in to it. She should be fine
Hey, my friend's wife was pregnant last year, and she was directed by her doctor to not take any bumpy drives, when asked if it's okay to go offroading. Also because she's pregnant, she might find the sub-freezing temperatures at night uncomfortable. Some things to think about. I certainly don't mean to turn you away, but I'm just thinking the safety and comfort of your wife and unborn child.

Hey thanks for the heads up. She called the dr and he gave her the no go . She can deal with. The cold thats how it is back home all the time.... but i really wish i could go i wanna meet some people.sorry maybe i can get away some time

I'll be leaving the Burbank area probably around 10:30. See you guys up there.

schoonover, sorry you won't be joining us. I'm glad you checked with the doctor though. See y'all next time.

Here are some of my pics. I also have about two hours of GoPro footage to edit and as soon as I can figure out how to do that and upload it all to YouTube, I'll post it up too. Awesome time!
Looks like a great trip I missed! And to top it off you got some snow dusting!

Yeah, last night it was snowing a tiny bit... enough to cover everything in a thin layer of ice. It was a blast. There's just something about campfires in the snow. I could have stayed by that fire forever. It was more comforting than my living room couch.

I had a great time, guys. Thanks everyone for showing up. All my camping gear is setup in the back yard drying out, my sleeping bag and ground pad in the family room. Looks like we're having ribeye for dinner, because I've got lots of leftovers. Beantown, I like your idea of returning the ice, because I don't think any of mine melted.

I only got a couple of videos on the gropro. We'll see if they're any good. And the only pictures I took were a few glamor shots of my Jeep and new tent at camp. None that anyone else would probably care much for, but I'll share one of them.
