Moab the first week of October anyone?

Hey So Cal people. I'm taking a trip to Moab the first week of October and meeting up with my sister and her husband out there. They will be traveling in their RV from the east coast and trailering their Jeep behind. Rather than make the long drive alone, I'd like to see if any other Jeep friends close by can come along. We are staying at Moab Valley RV Park. There you can rent an RV spot, cabin, or tent spot. If you have a pet, they only allow pets if you have an RV but there are nearby hotels that are pet friendly. My basic plan is to leave Monday morning and drive all the way in one day (about 11 hours) or stay one night at a KOA along the way. We'll run trails Tue, Wed, and Thu, then head out Friday morning. On the way back I'd like to take the 191 south with a slight detour over to 4 Corners (just so I can step on 4 states at once and say I've been there). Then we'd stay in a KOA on the way back and return home Saturday evening. If this sounds like something you can do the first week of October, let me know.

Be sure to keep some back for EJS 2013... Oh, we are going to EJS. Sorry we can't make this trip with you.

I already knew you wouldn't go. Something about a big project and work being more important, blah, blah.

Oh its not MORE important than going to Moab... Just necessary if I wish to keep the lifestyle I've grown accustom to..And the boss has become accustom too.
