I go to a Poker game in Redlands that always has beer on tap. It does seem to attract people!

That wasn't going to work out for several weeks. We may still do that in the future.

I'll be driving 66 miles one way to be there. Farther than coming from Long Beach. Just sayin'. But if Inland Empire is too far for you, maybe North OC next month will work out better.

Let's have the next one in OC sometime in march. Saturdays are such a good day to get out on the trails, but a Saturday could still be an option.

Okay North OC folks, you're up next. We had a great time at our Inland Empire Brew N Chew last night. We had 6 rigs and 7 people come out. Can North OC top that?

What's a good day for everyone? Suggest some venues in the North OC area. Some place that has beer and decent food, and preferably a big enough parking area where we can all park together or at least close by.

Pizza was very healthy. Had all the food groups in it. Jalapenos, meat, cheeze, sauce and bread. Then a nice healthy beer with healthy hops and barley to wash it all down.

You know it's healthy when the grease pools up on the pan.

What if you did chapters (LAC/OC/SB/VC/KC) then locals can meet monthly or bi-monthly - of course other chapter members are welcome to show up - then have an annual meet for all chapters - ea year the chapters vote on location for annual meet...just a thought

Okay time for a little road dog in put as I travel lots in SOCAL and being as I am I live based on good food and cold beer! BIGS on State College in Fullerton has great food for a good price and Parking at the END of the parking lot would leave tons of room it is not on the beaten path of downtown so less problems with Police!

The Cantina is also good on Nutwood avenue as it shares a parking lot with other buildings.

Thought for when we get to LA county is On The Rocks in Redondo this is where lots of cruisers head on Sunday due to Rubys Dinner!

I would like to participate in something like this once every 1-2 months since i got my first jeep like 2 weeks ago And am very excited to get to know other jeepers, specially since i dont know anyone else that owns a jeep haha. Been learning by reading this forum and trying stuff on my own. But one im leaving for deployment next month and dont come back till december, and two i live in southbay SD. Like 15min from the border so would be hard for me to make it to any meeting past camp pendlton base area since i work on the 32nd st base and dont get off till like 4 or 5pm monday - friday. So mabye next year you guys are still doing this and having meetings in the southbay and i will definitely attend!

Trying to figure that out. Whatever works for everyone.

Should we revisit the idea of a Saturday lunch-time gig in the Anaheim area, maybe Fullerton area?

That would be nice. Hopefully we can get enough interest in all the areas to do that. I thought we'd start off on a lower scale and see where it goes from there, but definitely if people want to do that, I'm all for it.

Both of those places sound good.

Congrats on the Jeep! Hopefully we'll get to see you at one of these or on the trail some day. The Jeep community is a great one to be a part of. Welcome!

So it's kinda sounding like a Saturday lunch-time Brew N Chew in the Anaheim area??? How does Saturday 3/10 work out for everyone?

Of the places suggested, I like the sound of 50/50 Burgers in Anaheim the best, but whatever everyone else likes is fine with me.

Sorry for the very delayed reply... I have been so busy lately that I haven't even logged on to the forums in about two weeks!

I have not been given an exact date yet, but I am thinking that I am going to be on day shift starting March 5th.

I'm in Lakewood. I'm up for any of the surrounding areas. Long Beach, OC, South Bay. As long as it's on a weekend.
