"good hands" is an understatement Bill. The only other thing I could have possible done would have been to put a "For Sale" sign in the window.
Chances are, anybody crawling up that wash, didn't need such a problem child.

I thought for sure that steering problem was in the box. Thank goodness for lifetime warranties, but that wasn't it. I'm not sure what you even call that shaft that runs between the firewall and the steering box, but darn if that didn't malfunction. A trip to Ecology and $20 (plus about 3 hours) later, we are good to go. FYI - did you know Ecology gives a 25% discount to veterans?

That's typical of Motino though. Seems that someone always breaks something.

Did Steve's group continue on the trail?
Yeah, so that was my posted run. Funny thing is it was an XJ that broke down then too. Fortunately for us we hadn't made it all the way to the trail yet. We didn't have good luck with AAA though. It took about 8hrs for the truck to arrive.

He do-over run was epic though!

Yeah...it gets busy on the half price weekends.
I've pulled complete d60s for $65 each.

Let me know the next time you plan to attend such an event.....if I have two coins to rub together, I'll bring um along and give them to Ecology.
