Alright cool you put me on the maybe list.

I don't want to have to put the top back on so as long as it's under 90* were good. Oh yea and if we don't end up going to Mammoth either .

There's a spot or two on Matino that you'd be glad you left your top at home..
Just saying...

Roger that. Don't want to have to spend $500 on new soft top fabric. Bikini top it is!

Let me know if you need help taking it off. It's easy, but is a two person job because of the bulkiness.

Thank you for the offer. I have a top hoist in the garage. I have used it on my 07 JKU. I was trying to keep the 13 JKUR clean as long as possible. Lol. Plus, it's really nice to have the Windows up, AC on and listen to XM in Comfort.

Back in May I lead a run for HDR of 17 rigs through Matino and two of them that had tops sustained damage.... so it can be done with a top...just pick a good line and your good...

OK fixing some small stuff now and jeep will be ready to go back out.....rear locker is finicky at connector which I kind of figured when I tried to solder it in the carrier so I'll pull it out...fix it and be good.
Relocating evap I had it off and I smelled the whole trail up Saturday like gas so I'm fixing it and last my death wobble tried coming back but everything is new and heavy duty so I'm going over it again I'll realign and balance tires just as another checked box...

Jeep kicked some @$$.....

We ran Holcomb in less than 35 minutes for a shakedown run....

I like the 2dr for rocks and nasty stuff ALOT better than my 4dr....wow....

Either way, it's just freaky. Is that why Mark likes being the tail gunner?

It takes way too long to clean the black interior. I may leave the top on a couple more weeks.

I hear ya. I just took off my hard top and bought a soft top. The hard top is a pain because if you take it off, you have to leave it at home. This is great for the trail and obstacles, but bad for the ride there sometimes. Especially in this nasty heat!

My wife and I would like to go but the last we ran this with you guys we came in from Pioneertown as we stayed in a RV park near there. Is there some way to meet up with you as getting to the trailhead that we followed the leader and I am not sure I can find it on my own. Anybody coming in from that direction?

there are 2 or 3 of us that plan to meet up at the 247 Cafe in Lucerne Valley at 08:00 hours Saturday and head out by 08:30. I hear tell they make a breakfast burrito that will stay with you right thru lunch time.
