Need reliable mechanic socal

Hey guys, I have a check engine light, p1495 (leak detection pump). I have tried everything I can to isolate the problem, but cane up with nothing. I took it to a few local shops but couldnt find any help. Simply said I need a fuel pump. They didnt even open the hood. Anyway....

Lookin for a jeep specialist or someone you guys on the forums trust. If anyone has had this problem, I would really appreciate any feedback. I am in glendale ca but am willing to drive to a good mechanic.

I am sure this will be repeated several times. Give Stan at JPi a call. His shop is in Yucaipa and he is a sponsering vendor on WF. Fair pricing and top quality work that he will stand behind.

Jeff

I had a feeling I shouldn't have said I don't mine a drive.. That is almost 2 hours away :/ maybe I should just suck it up and take it to a jeep dealer and pay the diagnostic fee. Thanks anyway Jeff! Appreciate it

I drive about 2.5 to 3 hours to get to JPi. Well worth the drive.

You guys were right, Stan was awesome, really helpful. It's rare to gain someone's trust over the phone but I trust him already. Thanks guys.

You are very welcome. Stan has worked very hard to get the reputation and respect he has earned. He is a rare find in today's automotive industry.

I also make the 2 plus hour drive to JPI. Well worth the drive. Won't take my jeep anywhere else...
