Short and simple Friday morning sounds like a plan..Friday night and Saturday/night, go full tilt; go a little easier Sunday.

Low 80's by day, Low 50's at night. Yeah, I can live with that. I'm thinking Johnson Valley this winter as well. Before the Marines invade it.

I'm sure hoping they don't take it. The Navy is actually pushing for it. Marines are just the Mens division of the Navy.

I tent-cot it. Some use tents, some come with RV's, and some pull their rigs. Whatever you want to do. It's just an open canyon and the road to camp is a dirt road. No problem.. and X2 on the DD.

Have fun guys and gals. The town is a blast at night right now for Halloween and the canyons have changed a bit since my last visit in March. I understand they had some good rains recently. Weather is beautiful right now for it too. A few teaser pics to warm you up.

You are awesome to get out soo much. My wheeling funds are not that deep unfortunately and neither is time my friend.
I too avoid crowds but thought they did a good job so through it our there. Either way have fun out there and be safe no matter what you end up doing.

Haha..my wheeling funds aren't that deep either. Once or twice a month is all I can swing. I'd go every weekend if I could afford it. Time; now that's something I have plenty of. It's called having NO kids and NO boyfriend.

I've jumped out of a plane...skydiving is overrated.

I'd rather be in my Jeep.

I'd really like to try their indoor vertical wind tunnel. Unlimited free fall. Sick. All I've ever done is static line jumps.

Nice snake. This is what we had lunch with on our miller trip. Didn't see it till halfway thru lunch. He was really cold and I had to poke him to wake it up.
