New Jeeper

I finally got my first Jeep! Its a 2001 Wrangler Sport 4.0L. My tires are in decently bad shape so i am in the hunt for a new set. I live in southbay san diego and i am stationed on 32nd st naval base. I was wondering what tires you guys would recommend. I will be driving it mostly on the road but will be also doing light offroading since i am unexperienced. So just looking for a tire that has a long tread life but can handle itself on the beginner trails out here. I will most likely be buying 15x8 Dick Cepek DC-2s with the tires i buy so if that helps at all. I am looking for 31" tires. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Those are BF Goodrich ATs ( all terrain ) I run them on my jeep and my 2500 Chevy 4x4. They are great on the road and do well off road. IMO they are a great all around tire.

Yea. Nothing hardcore at all. A nice mountain fire road or on the beach. I'm too old to do anything I will regret. Did a bunch of the "hardcore" stuff when I was younger. No more, just fun trail riding.
