New Owner and Looking for AEV Installer in SoCal

Hi All,

I have been lurking the forums for a couple of weeks and pulled the trigger on Friday. Got a 2013 JK Sahara...yes, I am fired up!

I am also ready to lift, replace bumpers, wheels and tires. I am going with the AEV products.

Mainly for the lift, do you have any recommendations on shops? I am looking at OC Motorsports and Rock-tech. I also got a recommendation for J Brand (I think that's the name).

The first two are close in price, couple hundred difference. I am willing to pay that difference is one place is known to be above the rest.

Thanks for the suggestions and see you out there soon.

BTW, I live in Santa Clarita.

alh

I will throw out that Dan and Mike at OC Motorsports are your guys. Great guys and great shop and will do your rig right. Welcome to the family.

Might be a bit of a drive but I think you will find JeePerformanceinc is another favorite here. I drive 80 miles to their shop in Yucaipa. They are a forum member and wheel with us. I know they do AEV.

If there is no welding needed , then why not have a install party and learn about your jeep and hang out with a few guys

Or you can DIY and learn as Jaker said. Great opportunity if you have some tools or someone can help you. If thats not the case, regardless of where you take it, a word of mouth recommendation is your best bet then just some shop.

Thanks for the comments. I would like to do it with a lot of help. But, work and 3 young kids and there is no way I would get to it.

Keep comments coming if more out there. I do like the word of mouth and experience of the group.

Here is another rec for Jeeperformance in Yucaipa. Stan is a great guy, his prices are fair, and he is 100% trustworthy. Any mechanic who is willing to stand behind his work to the point that he'll ride next to you on the trails is worth giving your business to.

My customers make all the long hours, the weekends, the hard work and all the rest that a business requires from an owner, so worthwhile when I read these posts. Thanks to all of you that support us, and we look forward to another off road adventure soon!
Aharris41, I would be happy to help you out on your project, whether it's just advice or a full build. Call me anytime, Stan

JPi is the only place I go. Great quality of work and fun to wheel with. I have been 100% satisfied with all the work they have done. Call up Stan and just get his advice, he is always willing to help out and guide you with a great quality build that can do amazing things offroad and drive as good or better than stock on the road.

Rebel Off Road does outstanding work as well. They get most builds done in a day or two, depending on how much you want done at one time.
