Newbie

Hello to Everyone! So excited, just bought my first Jeep, first Wrangler, first 4x4, ready to get dirty. It is a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport - stock.

I am brand new to the 4x4 world and ready to dive in. I live in Murrieta, CA - Temecula area for those not familiar with the area. Up to this point my main passion has been muscle cars, I also have a 1969 Nova with a built 383.

Any good beginner trails?

Thanks guys and gals.

Mike

Welcome to the forum and congrats on buying your Jeep!

You should checkout the Meet and Greet in March. So far around 40 jeeps are going. There will be a beginners group.

Many of the organized runs on her are beginner friendly. Today we went to Pilot Rock which was a great run, and beginner friendly.

Cleghorn is a great beginner trail. Easy fire road with some moderately challenging side roads. Take the 15 north about 5 miles past Devore and exit Cleghorn Rd. Make a right and the trail starts right there. Never go alone.

I'm going to leave my place at 0800 and prob get there about 0845. But I'm going to shoot in the morning time if the ranger allows us to. Than go wheel all around. It's my buddies first time getting his jeep dirty. More than welcome to come pop off some rounds with us if you got them
