Very nice review...I looked through about 7different reviews for 7 different tires and they all sound the same. I think all the top selling tires will work just fine. They all have a good and not so good aspect. I don't have ice and snow very often so not to worried about that. For me...I am big on aggressive looks and performance over noise and freeway driving. I drive my jeep once a week to a meeting approx 1hour each way so not to much wear and tear. The Cooper STT looks very intriguing but I am still leaning towards the Toyo Open Country because I ran them on my Dodge 2500 mega cab and loved them. Maybe its time to venture out and try something else.

I'd go 488s...that's as low has you can go with the Dana 30.
I run 37s and have 589s....love it!

But I'm sure Stan will help you out...
I might go 488's and truss until my D35 runs out. Then slap in a D44 with something in the 5 range. I am definitely heading to the 37's in the future with a D60. But that will take some time.

Those are mighty handsome tires. They are one of my first choices. I think I'm on the right track. You all have nice rigs and play in the same playground. It comes down to which is available at a decent price. I don't mind spending a little more for what tread I like. All of your input is appreciated.

I have friends who run on these and they love them too. Do you know who makes the MTZ's?
