NorCal Classifieds Section

Is there a NorCal classifieds section? Or what do you guys do to trade large parts/cars with each other?

I'm selling my Jeep and I think it'd be nice to have a local For Sale section for NorCal--

What do you guys think?

Thanks, I'm familiar - this post is about the idea for regional For Sale forums.

The forum requirement of 15 posts doesn't make sense (in my case). Let me explain:

I traded my classic Mustang for this Jeep Wrangler, and I realized I am simply not a Jeep or truck guy at all; So I'd like to let someone else have it who will enjoy it more. The best way to do that is to reach out to the Jeep Wrangler enthusiasts (I'm a member of many other car forums myself and have thousands of posts elsewhere, so I understand the addiction)

BUT, requiring me to post 15 times about things that I can't contribute to, or don't care about, is just going to result in forum clutter.

Maybe a moderator could approve my For Sale post in the classifieds section, and I could sell my Jeep to someone who would love to go offroading in it and contribute to the forum, and everyone can be happy

I think the idea is to cut down on spam and ad posts in the forum. This was someone has to come and make 15 at least somewhat meaningful posts before they can create their own threads.

I understand what you mean and I hope they can approve your for sale post. Best of luck with the sale!

So you're not really interested in making the forum better or more efficient for everyone, you just want it to work better for YOU. No, an exception will not be made for you. The 15 post rule is in place to prevent individuals from doing exactly what you are doing just coming here to sell a few items and then moving on. If you are not willing to abide by our rules or you have issues with them, please feel free to check out the JK forum, JeepForum, or pirate4x4.

Sounds like a great vehicle. Perhaps you would do better to post an ad in your local Recycler or Craigslist. Rules are rules!!

The classifieds section is: Jeeps For Sale - Jeep Wrangler Forum

There you can list by state and sort by state when looking for an item. So there's really no need for a separate N. Cal section.

Just go to 12 more threads and reply with 'lol' and a smiley. You'll be at 15 posts in 5 minutes.

Rules are rules but the OP seems like a very respectful person simply trying to see his jeep to someone that would enjoy it more than him. Don't we want to bring more traffic to this site and give other jeepers close to the OP an opportunity to get a nice jeep?

As mentioned, you can get to your 15 post minimum pretty quickly. Just rear through some build threads if you have time and compliment people on how cool their Jeeps are

I'm with you......it looked like he was more interested in seeing an enthusiast having an opportunity to get a look at his Jeep, than he was trying to make a sale.

I wish that rig was in my budget, I would totally be checking it out for myself.
