I'm thinking of taking my puppy up to Prairie City to see how he does off-road and to play around a bit with my new lift. Probably only be there for a couple of hours, I'm only about 30 minutes from it.

That would be cool. Never been there. I was hoping for something a little challenging how is it?

Most of the challenging stuff is in the obstacle course areas. The actual "trails" are nothing like a Cow Mountain or Hollister. It's pretty much just a large dirt area with some hills you can climb up. It's not the greatest picture, but this is pretty much what the area outside the obstacle course looks like. Or, what it looked like last year. I don't know if they've done any work to it since it's been about a year since I was there.

No problem. Looks like I'll be up there Monday at some point. I forgot Sunday was Easter and we have a brunch thing to go to, but I'm taking Monday off. Actually, I might go Saturday depending on what the supposed rain is doing since it's really supposed to get some rain on Sunday. Don't know if I want to be messing with a whole lot of mud and the puppy at the same time. After that Prairie City is pretty much on lockdown for the next 3 weeks after with events in the 4x4 area on the weekends according to their calendar so I'd have to go during the week.

Fresno area, We (me and my little friend) want to go on a Bald Mountain run this Saturday. Thought I would reach out to anyone in the area.
Happy Trails!

I might as the date approaches. There was such little response here on my Cow Mt. thread that I don't know if it's worth my time to post it here too. Seems that most of the folks on this forum are SoCal jeepers.

LOL! Yeah, I live at the north end of the lake. Have fun and be safe. The lake is in good shape right now, but it'll get ugly when the heat hits and it turns green! LOL, my kids are in that age bracket!
