Northern California Trail Runs Starter Thread:

Northern California Trail Runs starter thread:

The idea of this thread is to have a “go to” thread people can follow for the latest information on trail runs in Northern California, ideas for trail runs, and any other pertinent information concerning runs for Northern California.

For those who want to start their own thread, simply attach a link to it here and others can follow.
As an example, here is a thread underway right now...

Dec. Hull Mountain run:

Here are other examples of threads from this year.

Anything ever happen in NorCal?

NorCal: Indian Valley Res. Run, Oct 27th.

Oct. High Lakes Run

End of Summer Lost Coast Trail Run

Cow Mt. 8-11

4Wheel Parts Cust Appreciation Day Sept. 30th

Cow Mt Labor day 2012

4 Wheel Parts customer appreciation run, July 22nd, Hollister Hills

Knoxville OHV area run: Father's Day weekend

For those who already have other threads going, simply copy a shortcut from your post to here for others to follow.

By doing this, we can keep the photos and back and forth banter contained to your specific threads linked to this thread, and as a result, keep this thread neat and clean making it easier for people to follow the latest information on runs in NorCal. We can’t let the SoCal guys have all the fun, so come on NorCal, get out there!

Your banter is always the best Jimbo!

Just wanted to get something a little more organized that jeeples could easily find. Maybe it'll work, maybe it won't. Time will tell.

Hey do any of you NorCal guys know the Dusy Ershim trail well enough to lead a run next fall? Or who I can pick your brain for trail knowledge? Yah, it's not really NorCal, more like CenCal, but I thought I'd ask anyway. I did the Rubicon this past summer, and the Dusy's next up on my bucket list. I was looking at going next September, maybe 2nd week. I know it's a long ways away.

Yomondo, I personally have not run Dusy, but would love to someday when my TJ is worthy. Maybe someone will chime in who has, but like you say, it's a bit south for many of us.

Well Xmas is on Tuesday, so the weekend after would be the 29th-30th, and follow up by New Years day also on a Tuesday.

I like your thinking! Since you haven't done any wheel'n with the crew since Hollister, you've got some catch'n up to do mister! I think I already forgot what your jeep looks like, lol! I keep picturing a school bus, but maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

I can't see your pics from work, so I'm sure I'll have something interesting to say when I get a look at them tonight.

Oh yeah, I saw those. I'd pick on you about it, but I think it's the same one Gene has, so I'd have to pick on Gene's too, lol! Looks good, BTW!

OH I see how it is! I have to ask for compliments to get them lol... shoot, if my deductible wasn't so high and deer looked both ways before crossing I would have been on the coast run... I didn't even bother with the insurance since it was below my ded. just glad 4wp had a deal.

Well Jimbo, hope you can make the Hull Mt. run. I'm looking forward to watching you try to get up that mountain on your racing slicks, lol! Don't worry, I won't leave you behind, unless you're in a Bronco, lol!
