Nov 24th where ya at?

Looking to get a run going Sunday November 24th. Where ya at?

Have to many possibilities.... Big Bear (dishpan/deep creek Holcomb), cleghorn, calico, or borego/anza and truckhaven looks cool too.

If we can get 2-3 jeeps to commit for the day we can then hit a trail anywhere!

I'm wantin some solid rubber tires. Those routine flats and sticks thru the sidewalls are starting to get bothersome. Know what I mean??

I'm not sure how much they are expecting. I've only done both of those once. I was possibly thinking gold mountain could be fun in the snow...going off just what I have seen on YouTube videos tho, I've never done it.

It would!

But with the switch backs going up/down it could get sketchy. Could do gold mtn and Holcomb.

Would you be interested?

Calico show a little rain too, mid 60's

Ya I think that area gets less sun so it's colder and snows more and stays longer.

I will edit my first post when I get home. My cell won't let me do it. There's a post in WF and JF do ill combine them. Off the too of my head you will make 4 total and another 2 if they get out of the shop in time and another 1 is on call at work.

I still like the idea of Big Bear. Someone made a good point of a potential of black ice if we are coming down the mtn when the sun is going down. So.... Maybe just Holcomb or gold mtn.

I want to go and will know by the end of the week!
Also anyone coming from a distance I have plenty of room for people to crash and indoor toilets.
I live 10 minutes from highway 38 and the ranger station if that helps.

We should get off the mountain before sun sets so we have no icy conditions around blu jay and rim of the world area, that can be slippery...

Lol. You have a cabin up there YOU can use

Nothing is in stone yet. Calico is an option. Cleghorn or wildomar may work. I've been wanting to go to truckhaven in ocotillo wells for awhile but I know that's far for most of y'all. We can revisit the destination on Friday. I really do think if we meet at 1000 and eat lunch on the trail and head down the mountain by 1500 will be ok.
