True! They had a grin from ear to ear and probably had just as much fun if not more than any one else out there yesterday.

Here's my final end of day issue

A huge huge thanks to Austen at rubicontested.com I called left a message he called me back on a day off I told him my predicament and he went to the warehouse and grabbed me what I needed. He went down and met me at San Clements on top of that...

Factory ten axles non Rubin chromoly delivered $309 with everything (wheel studs, bearings, race, seals, and abs plate) except backing plate

Nicest part is I can go either 5x5 or 5x5.5 with the hole patterns...

Not too sure now, my son can't make it, he's moving and has work obligations. I remember those days. Anyway I'm 50/50 now, and I have 3 weeks to decide.

I like your new avatar. I got home at 10:30 pm since I had to drop my buddy off. Left my house that morning at 5:45 am and put over 300 miles on the jeep yesterday.

I was getting a wee bit worried when the first gas station was closed. I'm going to look into a Gerry can set up I can use with my stock rear bumper. Just in case. After my jeep was cleaned up I saw a bit of damage after our little adventure. Rear bumper and both passenger rims, almost as bad as your rim. But well worth it

Congrats on the weight loss so far I really like it out there. I think I'd like it better dusty then muddy. Mark and I ventured out after the poker run and did some sweet cave like trail.

I was aware of gas level or mileage remaining before we left Ocotillo. I did cut it pretty close though.

I really like the Roto Pax vs Jerry Can.

Use!
I don't spin and hammer down so this was just pure use....

Granted we do some nasty trails and get into some tough spots.

The stock axles in rear are known for 2 things
1- bending by the splines
2- bending on the outside flange

I haven't seen allot of breakage just twisting and bending, chromoly is worth it for that alone.

I'm not a mud fan so far. Dirt and rocks are easier to wash off.

X2
Unless the mud is all sand (based). Im out. The clay out in Ocotillo sucks, it is the equivalent to super glue.

Yeah what he said. Mine broke on the rubicon just before I bought it. They towed it home and I had chromos put in.You can see mine broke in the same way his did.
