I have to check our schedules - haven't had time to wash the jeep from the last run
- which lake are we going to? Some of those photos look umm a bit intense. Allow me to be girly when I say - I dun wanna scratch it

Hopefully there's less dust

Let's do Long Lake & Grassy Lake. I think most of it has a mild route and a more difficult route. My heep is also my daily driver so I can't break it. I don't think it will be as dusty as the coast run sounds like it was.

Yep, made it back about 8:30PM. 13hrs and 358miles clocked yesterday! I would gather you clocked even more! That's about my limit! Don't even wanna look at my heep for a day or two! Lol! Great scouting run though. We may want to re-evaluate the difficulty level on this one buddy! The camping issue needs to be addressed as well. I'll send you the link to my pics as soon as I get them uploaded.

So Jimbob and I went and scouted the area a bit. This can be done in a stock with some help. There could be some damage to everyone. I broke my swaybar link and hit my back bumper really good. So with that said it was one of the best trail I have done.
The camping we saw was so-so. No bathrooms and no camp fires at all. So we may need to found a new area to camp. (If anyone knows the area and can help with this please do.) We were looking at staying at lake oroville. Its close to the area and has full bathrooms (Pay Showers)LOL
Still have some more planning but wanted to keep everyone updated.

pay showers? thats a new one. You can just shower when you get home. I'm down to stay anywhere, but we must be able to have a fire.

Here's a few select pics of our scouting adventure.

Met up at Safeway in Paradise....

A whole lot of this just to get to the trailhead...

Finally, we get to the fun stuff!

It all seemed innocent enough going down to the second lake we visited....

Poser shot at said lake...

Then things got a little interesting....

Had to stop to repair a little trail carnage....

Didn't get a whole lot of pics since I was solo and was taking them while trying to keep my rig upright, lol!
