Ok so for campimg the only place I could find was at lake oroville.
Loafer Creek Campground
Ph. #: (530) 538-2217
Loafer Creek Road
Oroville, CA 95966
Latitude: 39° 31’ 41.61” N ||| Longitude: 121° 26’ 43.88” W

LOAFER CREEK: 68 miles north of Sacramento on Highway 70 to Highway 162. 9.5 miles east on Highway 162 to Loafer Creek, left into the park.

http://www.parks.ca.gov/pages/462/fi...undMap2012.pdf

Campsites are $25. anight and $8. for additional vehicles. 8 people pre site. They do have a group campsite for $125. (9-25people 8 vehicles) $8. for additional vehicles.
It's about 30-40mins to the Safeway in Paradise from the campground.

There are campsites along the high lakes but we could not have a campfire. We can use gas stoves. I did get a lot of good maps for the area that I'm still work with to make a nice copy of for everyone.

For you that don't camp here's someplaces for you.

http://www.featherfallscasino.com/
http://www.hiexpress.com/hotels/us/e...ca/hoteldetail
http://www.daysinn.com/hotels/califo...hotel-overview

So I hope this helps. I do have more work on the maps which I hope to get done today.

The following areas remain closed: (for camping)

• Soldier Meadows campground
• McCarthy Point Lookout
• Black Rock campground
• Mill Creek Trail (between Hole in the Ground and Black Rock campgrounds)
• Little Grizzly dispersed camping area
• High Lakes OHV area

So no camping on the trail.
camping only at Lake oroville or just make it a day trip. Which can make for a long day.

Ok jeeples, the High Lakes run is officially postponed until further notice. I will be putting together an alternate run for those who still wish to do some wheel'n on the 27th. It will probably be Indian Valley Resevoir and into Elk Mt or Lake Pillsbury. The trail will be moderate in difficulty with a combination of forest service roads and some narrower, rocky terrain. Minor pinstriping in some areas, but open for the most part. With the possibility of rain next week, we may also encounter muddy terrain as well. At least it'll keep the dust down. This is Mendocino National Forest territory for those who wish to look up the area. We can meet at the entry of Walker Ridge Rd off hwy 20. There will be camping opportunities for those who still wish to camp. I'll have more info on that later. It's been a couple years since I've been up there, so I have a fellow local jeep buddy who will be helping me guide us. He knows the area better than I do. This is last minute guys, so sorry for no scouting. I do have some pics from a couple years ago of the trails and the Res that I'll post up.

Gene had to back out due to a family emergency, so we thought it appropriate to postpone the run until further notice. The alternate run I will be planning will not be quite as exciting as High Lakes, but should still pose some excitement and adventure.

You never have to apologize for emergencies like this. Best wishes, hope it all turns out as best as it possibly can.

Take care.

Thanks everyone. She's doing a bit better but not out of the woods yet. It's been a long 3 days and many more to come. With any luck she will come home sometime in the next 3-4days.
