Oil Leak

Any one know local shops in San Diego to do a rear main seal on my jeep, starting to leak oil.

Dealer wants $675.00

Any ideas welcome, thinking of trying this on my own but I only have limited tools.

Wow....this post of yours has gotten by me. Didn't see it till today.....hmmmm, got to check my reading skills. I guess it doesn't matter, I am not much help here anyway. No, I dont know of any shops I would recommend. I usually do my own work. Are you sure its the rear main and not leaking from above?
Of course me, I would get a book and try to see if I could do it myself, but thats based on how much time you have.

I'm not really sure it's the rear main seal, was dripping at the bottom of the tranny bell housing.

Then all of a sudden, the day before I was going to attempt the rear main seal the leak just stopped dripping.

I have cleaned and inspecting daily looking for any signs of a leak.

Here is a link I used when I replaced my own rear seal. Not that hard as long as you take your time. Hope this helps.
