This is a fun trail. I believe this will take you through the squeeze and then down heart attack hill and a ways after that you can head to the left or the right. I have never gone to the left which looks like it takes you toward Ocotillo.

I might be down for a run. I was thinking about spending the day down in SD with my lady this day anyway. I'll talk to her and see what she thinks.

Unless the friend has experience in his Jeep. I dont think Pinyon Mountain is for those new to the sport.

Why not, does the Squeeze and Heart Attack Hill have anything to do with this?

My first real Offroad run was there. Granted I went with some very experienced and patient WF members. Learned a lot and had a ton of fun.

Thank you for the advice. He is not new to off roading but he is new to his jeep. So we have decided to do some easier trails until he is more comfortable with his rig.

I think that is a great idea. We went up there when we were new to our jeeps and wanted to turn around at the top of heart attack hill but you cant because you cant go back up the squeeze once you a through.

If you still want to do the Fish Creek run. Look up Broken Shaft Gulch. It connects Fish Creek and the Auga Caliente side of the parks with a very fun hill climb and such.

The hill climb is Diablo Drop Off. It's a drop off if you are coming from the other direction. Do it going up, turn around and it's a drop off again. Magic. Broken Axle Gulch is fun.

Agreed. I took a newbie up to the squeeze. Just to show him. He was so excited I said sure lets do it. Lol. Like 6 hours later we finished. He was so freaked out doing the other obstacles.
