Mods, I know this isn't tech related but can you leave this in this forum until Saturday morning when we deliver the petition to Congressman Duncan Hunter we are having a meeting with? Thank you.
This thread doesn't appear to be in the forum it represents the most, so I'm adding it,

Actually Tob, saving Johnson Valley isn't just for Californians, it's for all wheelers. Land lost in any state is lost to all of us.

I added quotes to your post since this is originally Jerry Bransford's post. However, I believe he went to the meeting this morning with the petition as he stated in the post.

your and you’re, if you figured out their and they’re you’ve got it
it’s is a contraction, its is a possessive • definitely has no a and ridiculous has no e • effect is a noun, affect is a verb
whether and weather are not the same • alot is not a word • then is all about time, than is all about comparison
two, too, and to are not just spelled differently for fun

I know, I just wanted it to be in this section since we don't always go to the other sections. And thanks for the quotes, it was late and I forgot them.
