Rainbow Basin/Inscription Canyon-01 APR 13

Thought I would throw up a few pics from today. Decided to take the family out for the first run of the new Jeep. Was reading and trying to find something easy since she is still stock. Anyway, here are some pics of the afternoon. Was a good time, overall about 30 miles one-way (from the start at Rainbow Basin), took our time and took about 5 hours from driveway to driveway. Nice little day trip really, almost all cross country, nothing technical, but after a ran, I can see where it would be muddy. No incidents other than accidentally hit a pool of moon dust with the driver side window halfway down. Black interior is now cream colored.

Ha... I went out there like 4 months ago in the wife's Liberty. I'm STILL finding moon dust ...

Lots of good exploring out around here in the Dez ... Afton Canyon, Cima Dome, and the Lava Tubes are all day trips for us! And that is just to name a few...
