Brew n' Chew!

Mike and I (and Leidys) and Almighty 90 (Evan) met up with the Wrangler Forum crew and here are the pics. Everyone had a great time. I was impressed by the Pizza, and the Micro Brew was great. We'll be back, hopefully very soon.

Here are the pics...

I don't kiss and tell. I mean, if I did kiss, I probably wouldn't tell. Ok that just doesn't sound right either.

He had some pale ale on his cheek...

Thanks for the pictures guys. Those are awesome! We had a great turnout, and it was a great time.

Hey guess what, it's almost August, so we need to start talking about the August Brew N Chew already. We've had great participation in Riverside and Anaheim, but there's also been talk about bringing the Brew N Chew to South Bay or Santa Clarita. So what's it gonna be? Any of those areas are fine with me. Or maybe y'all want to come over to Burbank. I don't think we have many others here in the San Fernando Valley though.

I like that idea, more likely to get the wife and kids to go if it's a day at the beach. Plus, the weather will be good for a beach meet.

I think Armand mentioned that this could make the 'brew' part a little tricky though. Will need to be in a brown paper bag or something...

Yah, problems with "on the beach" are no alcohol, crowds, tough to park together and get a big enough area of the beach for all of us, parking cost, etc.

If we're looking at South Bay for general location though, and proximity to Jeepers out there, then maybe we can find a place away from the beach a bit, where crowds and parking are not issues.

I bring adult beverages to the beach all the time in hermosa / redondo. its very relaxed here, unlike huntington beach or other places.

i would avoid the red cup
don't act like a drunk douche bag
stay away from the piers

the beaches are not so crowded once you get away from the popular areas we could set up a beach meet. there are other parking options too i know a few good places, but i ride my beach cruiser down, which is always an option if anyone wants to bring their bikes and park on the street by my apt.

Sorry we missed it. Lokks like everyone had a good time. My sons football season started this week so we have had a bit less free time than usual. Still trying to make Saturday, but that is still up in the air as well.

Okay so back to this....

Do we have anyone willing to take the reins and work out the details and logistics for a beach Brew N Chew in South Bay for August? I'm not familiar enough with the local secrets to avoid crowds and parking issues.

If not, we can pick another location that's easier to work out. Some ideas if a beach setting is not worked out:
- Some other South Bay location, farther from the beach, where parking, reservations and crowds will not be an issue.
- Santa Clarita
- San Fernando Valley (closer to me for once!)
