Ya it's a pretty fun little area. A very gnarly rock garden at the bottom that really needs to be redone to make it usable for the average wheeler though. Ive seen some really built rigs get stuck on there a few times. The trails are mostly steep hills with a few small obstacles with a little bonus points area at the top. Great 360 views at the top make this a fun weekend trip. It's free and close to my house so I go here quite a bit. Hit me up if anyone ever wants to explore it.
Hey we're you guys cruisin up peaceful valley rd?? Saw a few jeeps when I was heading home from miller
Yeah it might have been us!.. We left late because we had a "Toyota" friend tag along and he broke his crossover steering system on a downhill, can you say scary feeling?
Luckily he owns a tow truck so that wasn't a big deal but we had to drag the Yota to the main highway & that took forever!
We hit the road back home around 7pm along Sierra Hwy
He was playing the catch up game since he had a late start so he didn't air down & was literally flying uphill to meet us up at the peak so he might have broke the steering bolts loose from all the bouncing! We all know solid axles don't like to be jumped!...lol
Oh yeah that'll do it for sure. Hell the road to the staging area will rattle you apart! I am gonna start airing down at the last gas station before the entrance from now on. I hear new squeaks and thuds every time I go there.
Tito, Ralph drive everything hard and fast. We do you think I didn't let him drive my jeep, only drive my Shit if he has too. The trail we did wasn't there last time I was there. But I was there when they have this dude a $100 bill for making it over the rocks. We should do more often, just not hang out at the top pinin area for as long as we did. That way we can hit the Bach trail all the way down. And back up, and still get home at a decent time.
