FYI, That red clay mud from Texas Cyn (Rohwer Flats) will stain just about anything it can attach itself to. Make sure to get it off ASAP. I still have marks on my soft top from it over a year ago. There are some crazy trails up there on the backside leading down to Bouquet Res. Also accessible from Sierra Hwy. My old Jeep.

No I didn't. I used to dirtbike up there way back when. I had my Cherokee up there about 10 years ago. I havn't had the TJ up ther yet. Just make sure to wash it off. It will also stain and ruin clothes.
We aught to head back up there sometime when it drys out some. Arg, then there's that dreaded red clay, LOL. Summertime is nice up there under the tree!
That trail goes literally straight up! Then there was a road that I could take a car on,well, you know, kinda switchbacks and zigzags up the backside and crosses over the real jeep trail a few times if I remember well. To be honest with ya I was scared shit less in my Cherokee, It was my daily driver and I kept it immaculate. Not saying my TJ isn't clean, but its not my only vehicle these days. Hell I didn't even disconnect it on that trip. Probably should have. My buddy had a winch and we had to use it once on that trip.
Haha yeah my tj is my only car and being 17 makes it really sketchy to do anything too crazy but we made it up with no problems it's all about 4wheel low haha
