What about Thursday?

I'm thinking the week of 4th of July. That 7 days should be good to travel up, do the trail, travel back and clean gear.

This sounds like a real nice idea. jeeperdave49 was just talking to me about running the trail. I mentioned to him I used to live up north and wanted to to run the trail for my Jeeps name (Rubicon) sake. Hopefully you guys can get a date made.

Hopefully. The Dusy is by far the best trail I've been on. (Unless the rubicon tops it)

I haven't called in my vacation yet but SkylarM is locked in. The two weeks after the week were going there are two separate jamborees.

I'm planning a Rubicon run August 6th-8th. Hopping for a group of around six rigs. Only two so far. Lets make this happen.

We are doing the Jeepers Jamboree on July 24-27 (4 day). A buddies father in-law has done it the past three years and has had a great time every year.

I was very skeptical on going due to the crowds and such... but he has been for the last three years without any issues.

For us it is a good deal for everything that is included and it being our first trip in the up there.

Seems to be BAD info about it being posted.....
A locker or lockers is SUGGESTED not required.
here is the link for vehicle requirements :

I did the 4-day Jeepers Jamboree last year and will be doing it again this year (and possibly every year into the foreseeable future).

It is definitely a party but it can be as wild or as tame as you want it to be.

There is a sizeable party crowd who are always loud and crazy but you can also get away from that, if you want. I tried to strike a balance somewhere between crazy and mellow.

One of the nicest things about the Jeepers Jamboree is that they have mechanics on the trail who work for tips only, should you break something. Paying for any needed parts, of course, is your responsibility (and they will even fly them in via helicopter, if necessary, at no charge).

Probably not everyone's cup of tea but I and several hundred others think it's a pretty good time.

I will likely go on the 3-day Jeep Jamboree (which is much more family oriented) in the next year or two with my son to see how that compares.
