Art, our buddy Mike will be leading this one.. I talked to him today.

Meet: Hwy 247 and Camp Rock Road
When: 0900
Rig Requirements: 33's, sliders, be lifted and a locker is helpful

Directions to camp----> Google map::
From: Hwy 247 & Camp Rock Road, Lucerne Valley
To: Cambria Road, you'll see it..it's right up the road.

Go north on Camp Rock Rd toward East End Rd. Turn right On Cambria Rd. It's around 3 miles. After turning right on Cambria, just go up the dirt road and you'll see us.

Coords to camp:
34 29 13.90N

We'll set up camp on Friday evening. I only know that one place we camped at last time, is that the same place you planned to camp at?

Yes...I wasn't sure a lot of people were going to want to go..and esp Friday. It's the same spot by that stack of rocks. So real close to the meet location I'll get a mod to allow me to run a list to the first post and keep it updated. There will be some others joining us from another site for sure..

Count me in, Lorie. Lemme know when you're rolling Saturday and I'll caravan up with you unless you're taking the back route.

Yomondo and Brett..just let me know!

Sky-- I can go 101-134-210-15. It's 3 hours out from my place so I'll be leaving at 0500, which puts me in your neck of the woods around 0600. By the time we get there, we'll have an hour to unload and get to the meet location.

Bernie--Normally I'd camp Friday night, but it's looking like a full on production crew will be coming out to film me. There's been a lot of things changing for me since FB, YouTube and my website getting more up to speed. Tell ya about it when I see ya. I can see the light ...I will be quitting my dreadful job one day. Dreams do come true!! So....because of that, I want to look fresh Saturday morning and not have a beanie on my head

1st post on this thread will stay updated.

No and this will probably be the first time I'm getting there Saturday instead of Friday..but I want to look decent for Saturday's shoot. And, I need to get a better handle on the trails out there, so I can start holding runs like everywhere else.

Do you have GPS coordinates or more detailed directions to where you'll be camping?

Looks like so much fun! I really hope my track bar gets here in time, I'm going to call them tomorrow. It's already been a month after all.

Make one, order some 1 and a 1/4" thickwall dom a tap and 2 heims. Get creative with a bender and you got a indestructible custom trackbar that you will not destroy for a long time to come

If I had access to a bender right now I'd be making most of my parts

Most anything you can get around, you see something you like try it otherwise just find something slightly less intimidating, that's what makes the place fun, you pick and tackle the stuff you like and go around other stuff. Did you talk with Mike about what trails to run?

The lil white TJ that ran grinder with me did ok on a ton of this stuff.
Other than a bit of a wheelbase stretch his TJ is just like yours Lorie.
He still rocks the venerable Super D35 in his lil 4 banger stick TJ with a Terralo, just like yours. He just got a lil creative with the suspension and the wheelbase stretch

I know right? People who don't know what's out there b/c they've never been and then see Art in his Juggy may get the wrong idea.

The run requirements are posted. Basically, if you're lifted, have 33's, have some sliders and a at least a rear locker, you should be golden. If you're running open diffs, you may need a tug somewhere.. or not.

$hit can happen anywhere regardless....that's part of the fun! And looking forward to camp afterwards with you guys who haven't been yet!

I'm free the 17th but it seems nobody can do Fridays. I work the 18th. My schedule is given to me 6 weeks out so I can't really change it. I'm off Sunday but that's when the NFC championship game is. I'm not saying it....but it may just be played in Seattle so I gotta keep that day free.
