Santa Ana Mtns. (Main Divide)

Were any of you local jeepers out wheeling in the Santa Ana Mtns. yesterday sunday?.. I seen a few about a group of 6-7 Jeeps out wheeling together along the Main Divide/Santiago Peak but didn't get a chance to speak to any to find out if they were WF jeepers

Yup, I believe everyone there is a WF member. I wasn't there due to work, but I was fully aware of the run!

Ahh should've dropped in! Where were ya when you seen us, and what were you in? We passed a few jeepers along the way.

Yeah that pic confirms who you guys were...I was in the Khaki LJ when you were trying to climb up the hillside along the main divides open play area. I was there with another black jeep and a few toyotas

Is this a good trail to get your feet wet? I'm also looking at the Otay Truck trail. This is a little closer to coming from LA.

It's a good one, mainly fire roads, but alot to explore. All the offshoots are either gated or prohibited (we took them anyways) lol

Hey Iv been wanting to check this trail out. I live by lax so it's a drive for me. Can someone let me know how this compares to any local trails. And is it worth the drive?

I live in LA I was planning on doing some of the fire roads at first then move on to some with more challenges like Cleghorn. Let me know if you want to go

I took this trail on Monday solo to clear my head from some bad news from the Dr, it was just what I needed. Only saw one other Jeep on the way down.

Yep. Too many people were enjoying themselves. Shut it down.
And FYI the last two times I've been there in the evening they had rangers sitting there waiting for people to attempt to drive around the gate.
