See the dent under my pass door. I tried taking the hardest line in the hardest rock garden and didnt quite have the clearance. But the two other jeeps make it out unscaved. Smartly they didnt take the same line i tried.

Yeah, all of the sudden those snorkels don't look like such a bad investment... .

Ok, seriously, I'm working on getting some rails by this weekend. Then, the only challenge will be getting to Big Bear by 9:30... Ouch.

Yeah, I feel your pain coming from a distance, but BB doesnt dissapoint. Maybe Coop would move it to 10 if you ask him....we should be done by 2 or 3 so at least you get home at a decent time...

Kind of like at Cleghorn -- There was that one part where you hit them and it made like a crunching sound, but they were fine. It'll help better than nothing at all, but I wouldn't advise bouncing on rocks if at all possible.

As I mentioned to Scott, I do know a guy that has Rubi take off rails for $120 including the hardware. That's a great deal! I bought my Rubi rails for $125 and they didn't include the hardware.

Coop, the stock rubi rails are pretty impressive. The only issue with them is they don't keep the side of your jeep away from rocks. But I've had one side of my rubi off the ground, pivoting on a boulder, and didn't even tweak the rail at all.
But the yellow jk is getting ready for a major rebuild, and will include new rails.
