I cant believe how flimsy those side steps where... And they are too beat up to sell, lol. The bottoms are just trashed. I'm digging the rails though, although Hurley is totally missing his easy entry. Wait till I get my lift... <evil laugh>

Where did you get the wheels powder coated? I assume they are powdered coated, right?

Nope, that's not powder coating, it's PlastiDip... The best stuff since sliced bread. There are tons of posts about using PlastiDip, but I got most of my info from dipyourcar.com. I bought the plastiDip at HomeDepot, $6 a can.

Wheels take one can per wheel. My grill took two cans, and I've also done my fuel filler door and taillight guards. It's ridiculously fun, and temporary! If you realize you don't like it, or just wanna switch back, it peels off like skin. So sweet.

I'm showing about 2h15m for me, i guess we'll see if that holds true. I just fueled up and put the hardtop back on, looks like it's gonna be a bit chilly up there! See you guys in the morning, totally looking forward to it!

Blew a tire easing up to the first obstacle. Hadn't even touched anything yet, and pow, the inside wall gave out. So then we changed it on the trail (everyone there was so cool and helped a ton) but then after dragging my low stock ass over the rocks, I had a flat on my spare too. So then we had to plug the spare... What a day.

We made it through, thanks to Coops spotting, Bill's level head and everyone's muscle and assistance. Two stock JK's made it though Holcomb Creek, and wow we both left a bit back on the trail. Definitely one for the record books.

Yeah, great trail and everyone pitched it to make it happen...bugs, plugs, & tugs. Just enough water to keep it fresh. I do feel good that we got 2 stock 4 door JKs through Holcomb. Good day. The jeep spirit lives on!

Great Time today, had way too much fun yet some nervous moments, speaking as one of the stock JKs to make it through. I am glad we have a bunch of video to prove it. Next time I do that trail it will be with rock rails and a lift/bigger tires.

I couldn't have done it without great spotters, Coop and Bill you guys are awesome. Next I see you guys I owe you a drink.

I'll upload the pics and videos of the trail ride tomorrow. Thanks again guys.
