You and me both Mike, you and me both. In fact, we might be getting those boys sloppy drunk next time we see them.

On the other hand though, you have got some iron balls yourself there bro. It's a joy getting through it all with ya. We'll definitely have to run that again once we get a little height added on. Great job though; inspiring for sure.

Yeah, kudos to you both on that....you guys stepped to the plate (or rocks in this case) with very little hesitation. When we got to the first obstacle...some would have turned tail. Nice job!

Thats a question that you just need to research...there are beadlocks and loook likes beadlocks, so if you want real bead locks, that will narrow it down. Mickey thompson makes a nice rim, Walker Evans...etc. It would be nice to have a rim that wont spin on the tire or easily pop a bead.

Also checkout the ATX Slab. I don't know anything about beadlocks, but EVO (Off Road Evolution) in Fullerton promotes them all the time.

I assume you know that beadlocks require a lot of maintenance - re-torquing, etc. Most people don't get them because of this.

Installing Walker Evans on an 06 LJ this week, can't go wrong there. I'm looking at Trail Ready and Raceline wheels for my remodel project.
See the 06 LJ build on our Facebook page.

Thanks Bill, waiting on the front anti-rock and the rear shocks, wheels will be finished on Thursday. It's a nice LJ, 13,000 original miles. He has a pile of stock parts, tires, wheels to get rid of too.

Wat do u think im running now? 4 stock ravine rims (spray painted flat blk) i dont care wat rim it is but i.cant do forest fest w.o one soo im just lookin for a cheap rim tire so i dont have to go buy a $200 tire nd $50 rim that ill prob never use. Plus i dont have a tire carrier so it wont be visable alll the time so it doesnt really need to match. Is this the lj that ur buddy just bought. (looks red in the pic but i thought it was orange?)

Pretty much just started looking so was hoping you (or others) had input on that. ARB seems to be the leader, but also one of the most expensive and you have to have an air compressor.

I started a thread yesterday:

http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/loc...ml#post2233673

One person suggested Detroit Truetrac. Others I haven't checked out yet are Eaton and many more.

Sounds like selectable would be best, but an auto would probably be ok up front since it would only activate when in 4X.

Stan (Jpi) will be getting me some info.

What have you been looking at?

I'll see what I can find for you.
This LJ is the one that did pilot Rick with us, the orange stocker. He bought it a couple of years ago with 8000 miles on it.

don't know....this dude went thru 2 tires. we took the sway bar links off after second tire and borrowed a spare. if u get a lift, rims with more backspacing them probably safe. problem only seems to be on stock jk's the sway bar links rub the tire when they are zipped tied up when you flex and full turn the wheel....POP!
