Saturday Run 6/14

Good friend of mine from work just had his dad move from Florida back to Cali... More specifically a nice house in Lake Gregory.

He's been trying to get his old man to get a jeep and his plan includes me taking him out and showing him how close he actually is to all these beautiful trails.

I just did a quick look at a map and figured pilot rock to 2n17x and back down but figured if I could get a few more rigs together we could make a nice wheeling day out of it... I still haven't done Dishpan.

Ideas, suggestions, who wants to go wake the nice quiet neighborhood of Gregory lake real early AM?!

I'm easy!! Lemme know what's up?

FYI, that's Father's day weekend so BBFF will be running. 2n17X and Dishpan are two of the trails they are running, so you may have company if you go that day.

I'd suggest if you really want to run it that day: find out what time the Pilot Rock run starts. It starts up in Big Bear. So if you start your run when they are leaving Big Bear, you shouldn't run into them.

Shit... Didn't realize it was fathers day that day. And sounds like there's gonna be a ton of people up there!

How bout Friday? Anybody off that Friday?

I was going to mention the same thing, its going to nuts up there with the BBFF going on. You should try and get on one of their runs, there may sill be some slots still open. I think somebody else started a thread concerning the BBFF, check it out.

Anywhere near Big Bear will be a cluster Fri-Sun if you're not on the run. Id suggest JV or Cleghorn. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.
