Shouldn't WF Split Southern CA up with Northern CA

I see that most forums have our state (California) split up between Southern and Northern sections. Just wanted to throw this up for debate.

I believe it will help filter runs better.

Thoughts? You guys don't care? Probably just want to wheel... I get it.

I feel like the redheaded step child, I'm neither Northern or Southern Calif. I'm Central Coast, it's 3.5 hours to San Jose and 3.5 hours to L.A.

I've ran into this problem with the G35 Forums too, I've gone to meets in both SoCal & NorCal. They both claim me

Split it!

I've clicked on a few of the N. Cal runs without realizing it.

What? 7 hours away?

What? I thought we were the only weirdos with a Jeep and a G! I laughingly told my husband we should have a Jeep and G Meet- except no one would come. Or there would be a fight. The hubby is 2GOrNot2g on G35 Driver- he is easy to spot because ours is super-charged. BTW parting out a bunch of stock stuff so if you need anything...Which forum are you on?

Anyhoo- X7 on splitting the forum. You Cental Cali's will have it made- you can pick between the two!

Me, I vote a 3 way split, Northern, Central, and Southern California. I have seen other forums, motorcycles, that same way and it works.

What say the MODS??

The Z forums do it. We could do a jeep, G and Z meet, LOL!

Just looked at my Rand McNally Road Atlas and the split in there is from just south of San Jose, Campbell to be exact, to Bishop.

Just thinking out loud here. What do you think?

I'm on G35Driver also I'm going to have to go look up your husband, I'm sure there's pictrures of the G there. I'm G-Ticket on there.

When you have Central Calif. in the split it gets a little confusing due to us being the Central Coast. At least that's the problem I've seen on Driver. Also we have very little activity here, there are many more Jeeps than G35's around here so it may not matter.

I'm good with a SoCal, NorCal split. I can just look at both and will probably end up more on the SoCal side.

You would get more Z's and Jeeps than G's from here. I do see more than in the past, but since there isn't an Infiniti dealer locally I think it keeps the population down.

Makes sense because the state is so long. My guess is somewhere just below the SF Bay area for the split. The central coasties could cherry pick which ones they wanted to go on from either side. I would vote yes for this.

I'm in the perfect locations to head North or South, split sounds fine with me.

I actually live a few miles South of SLO in Nipomo, just down the road from Pismo

I remember back in the 80's when I lived there some were trying to split the state into north and south.

I think a north south makes sense as busy with runs as this forum is...I've got excited about a run or 2 then realized it was way up north...kind of a buzz kill. First though was they should divide it.......then pluke puts this up and I agree...

Should be 3. Border to Sacramento, Sacramento to SLO, SLo to the border. Or better yet, split it into State of Jefferson and california. Jefferson - The 51st State - Northern California / Southern Oregon - A State of Mind

Central Coast would default to So-Cal in my book.

Do you prefer the Dodgers or SF/Oakland?

I was born in Oakland Naval Hospital, don't really follow baseball, but would have to say Oakland A's due to my sons obsession. Hard core San Diego Chargers fan, and my best friend lives in Poway......see Red Headed stepchild for sure

Lol

I can't really see any down side to making the split... who calls the shots? I would be happy to plead the case.
