Silverwood Lake Run: august 11th

Alright everyone the august run is here, and its going to be on august 11th!!! We will meet at the McDonald's off the freeway like last time exit #138. The next run, I plan to start by Silverwood Lake and take 2N17X to the Pilot Rock trails then from the pinnacles there was a trail we missed that bypasses the fire road to deep creek that I think is called 2N75 that works it's way back to 3N34 and then to Deep Creek. It would be more of a challenge.

2N17X - Dirtopia, the Off-Road Encyclopedia

San Bernardino National Forest - Rouse Ranch OHV Road 2N25

San Bernardino National Forest - Banff OHV Road 2N28Y

San Bernardino National Forest - Rouse Ranch OHV Road 2N25

From what I can figure it is 3N34 to 2N75 to 2N28Y to 2N25 and back to 3N34.

CREDITS TO: hwyrubi for the run plan. Thanks!

I will be fine tuning this and putting together a more concrete plan. I will edit should anything change!

Meeting address: 15218 Summit Ave., Ste. 500, Fontana, ca

Not sure you would have enough time, to run Cleghorn and then the other trails. But you can always give it a go. 2N17X is supposed to be a pretty good one.

I can't go that day I'll be sailing to Catalina again, but you can do that with one arm easy. Just need one to hold a beer.

Looks like I am in. May bring my son and or wife. I am a fairly new wheeler but my TJ is pretty capable and I have done Pilot Rock, Dishpan (down) and Holcomb Creek.

Send me a pm with your name and number please and I'll add you in.

Hwy that's good to hear, wheeling with you was a blast!!! As for the day run into the night it is possible..I'm always a cautious skeptical dude so naturally my gut says not to but hey we could do Rubi's run during the day and cleghorn after into the night.

It's really not any harder at night. Just need to slow it down, and pick your lines a little more carefully. I love night runs, especially when you get lost.
Whoop Whoop!!!
