Currently my days off fall mid week, Wednesday-Thursday to be exact. I'm looking for some fellow jeepers with midweek days off to possibly set up some runs. That being said I'm thinking of heading out to Calico this Thursday (8/15/13). I know it'll be a bit warm so just bring extra water and beer. If anyone is interested please let me know. Feel free to send me a text as I may respond quicker.

I'm stuck with the week days off also.. Sometimes I get a Sunday but very rare.. My days are usually Monday and some other day.. Working retail sucks. This week I have Friday and Sunday off... Next week I have both sat and sun off but on request. The following week, it's back to normal.
I'm game, if I don't have to work. I'll keep looking out for weekday runs that are posted.
Hey Jesse......I am up for a mid-week Calico run after the first of Sept. We have been on surviving something of a lull thru the end of the summer. Now that the kids are back in school, our finances have vastly improved. (My bride is a school nurse.) Let me know when you want to make that run, and I will plan my chores around it. Phil
Okay Jesse...........so far it's you and me plus three more "I'll try to make its" - of those, 1 is coming from the South Bay (a probably), 1 writes his own schedule (maybe) and 1 has a lot of vacation time on the books (maybe). 5 (or 6) is a good group if you ask me. The date will be Wednesday, Sept 4th (2 days after Labor Day & 2 weeks from tomorrow). Since it's easy to find, how about we meet 8:00 a.m. at the AM/PM on "D" St & the 15 fwy?
Sorry Phil just read ur post about the run being planned for Wednesday...haha. I can prob make that work. Just have to be back in time to get my daughter to soccer.
What time is that? Before you answer, I'd guess we could easily be back in town by 2:00, baring any unforeseen major breakdowns. White Mountain (even tho it has a Black Diamond designation), is totally doable in a stock Jeep. Towards the end of the trail, there is about a ½ mile section that is slightly more challenging, but still doable. Do you have a CB radio? :nonono:
At least a couple of us are meeting up at the Roy Rogers Starbucks Wednesday morning at 09:00 hours before heading out Hwy 18, to High Road, and up the Grapevine Trail toward 3N17x and the White Mountain Trail. Let me know if any of you want to add in a point along the way in order to caravan. Looking forward to a casual mid-week run up the hill.
Hey Jesse, it was good to make all of your acquaintance today, and thank you so much for putting me back in (or out of) gear. I got home in time to fix my girls car and take a cold shower. Gonna take the little woman out for dinner and call it a day. Let's do it again real soon, eh?
Gentlemen it was good yo meet all of you. Dave and I had a great time. Hope we can wheel again soon.
