After the run anyone wanting to go home or to another place besides the steak house in more than welcome to do so. I only want to make sure the run comes off smooth. Afterwards everyone can decide for themselves. LOL I'm choosing dead cow since I don't drink. Welcome to the fun Helomech. I was a H34 Crew Chief in ancient times. Thats piston power if your a young guy.

And the ski rental shop is there too, and I'm sure it won't have any cars in its lot.

OK since we might have quite a few rigs coming I think that we ought to switch to Rocky's since it has more room. Same time 10 am we leave for the trail head at 1030.

Is there room for a couple more?
Just did 2N13 Last Saturday with my wife and her sister in our jeeps and had a nice time.
An easy day on the trails with some new peeps sound like fun.
I think there is a Suzuki Samari friend of my sister in law that is interested too.

I have always wanted to run Big Bear, have a Christmas party that night though...what time do you expect to finish the run? I think it was posted at 3-4 hours but with this many rigs do you think we are looking at a bit longer? Just trying to see if I can "squeeze" it in!

I have never used chains since I got my Jeep. The 4 wheel drive does pretty well with the use of chains. I do have an auto locker though and it can be a bit squirly on ice if in 4wd on pavement.

I was driving on ice on the pavement in Big Bear last winter, no chains, stock tires, and I couldn't believe how well it handled. So I slammed on the brakes just for fun, and started sliding all over the place. I let off the brake, and was immediately in control again. I don't even own chains. I'll just trust my Jeep, and my driving. Slow and steady wins the race. Although I wouldn't want to climb some of those city street hills with no chains or snow tires. Just my $.02 worth. Lol

We ought to be done by 230. It is a real easy trail. Just lots of scenery. It is just going to be follow the leader.
