SoCal in Riverside/SanDiego or surrounding area......

Ok guys, come on. We have to organize something.

Post up days you think you can make a run and we'll see what we can set up.

I'm free most days between 10am and 2pm for close runs, and saturdays or sundays all day.

My jeep is stock, so I'm limited in my trails.

If you guys don't cooperate with me , I'll start to PM everyone on the Cali list. I'd like a group to go out with once a month or so.

***Mike are we still on for next Sunday the 28th, Palomar mountain? Brian, would that work for you?

Tiny,

What time? I might be able to make it on Sunday. I'll see if I can move some things to Saturday.

What's a good time? I'm free all day. When I did it last, we went out a around 9 and I was home by 1 or 2, I think.

If you guys want we can try a different trail. I believe I have the dinkiest jeep of the lot, but I heard Lawrence Welk has some places for the bitties to go around.

If we do decide on Palomar, Mike, let me look at a map so you don't have to drive all the way to Temecula if there's a shorter route to get there.

If we do Palomar, Mike can come over Hwy 371 to Hwy 79. We could meet up at the Junction.

If you want to do something different, we could do Bee Canyon from Hemet to Idyllwild. There is a turn-off that goes up to Indian Peak that is a little more chalenging for a side trip.

I'm up to trying Lawrence Welk also, I've never been down there. I can't find anything in any of my books for that area.

I'm still trying to move some things around on Sunday so I'll be able to go. I'll let you know.

Then Mike, it's a yes for Palomar on Sunday, but if Brian can go, we have a choice of other trails. I haven't found Lawrence Welk, but I'm sure I can find directions.

9 is cool with me. And, Brian, if you want to do Palomar, we can meet at 79south and Anza then drive down and meet up with Mike, unless he wants to meet up in Temecula, but it seems out of the way for him.

I know exactly where Palomar is, so that one's easy.

There are directions to Lawrence Welk on the Just Runs site, as well as directions to lots of SoCal trails. Check it out- I downloaded and printed them out a couple years back. The directions are excellent for getting to the trails.

You do and I'll beat the hell out of you. Those things aren't cheap to fill and my kiln uses up about 10%.

But I have a total of 550 gallons. Haven't fired up the tub this winter at all. Just haven't felt like it.

No place quite yet. I'm in the process of reopening my business. But, you'll be seeing some special pieces here on the forum in the next week or so I'm thinking.

I'm hoping to have a couple of places here in Temecula sell my stuff soon, and I'll looking for a restaurant in LA that will use my work.
