Believe it or not, when you see it in person it does bring back those great 80's memories. I appreciate the look of this Jeep and the fact the owner has kept it stock, for the most part. It really is a clean sample of the 80's and shows the owners pride in it, even has Delta lights, a high lift mounted on the hood and a hood mounted light bar as well.

It used to be a Ford Excursion, which is bad enough... Add flames, massive mud flaps and just way too much stuff and you end up with this. Funny, he sped past me (I was cruising at 65) and I thought to myself, "He is unnecessarily wasting gas." He gets off at my exit and zooms up to the first gas station. Haha.

I'll bet he was a very short man.
Probably had to use a step ladder to get out.
(I shouldn't make fun; we carried a folding step ladder for my mother-in law the last time she was here.).

I have to park near the curbs so my mom can get in and out.

I had the pleasure of parking next to this Patriotic Jeep a couple months ago outside of Souplantation in Foothill Ranch.

Not quite sure what this is (or was). It said Toyota on it, but also had a big Suzuki emblem on it.
Traveled from Carlsbad to Vista via El Camino Real and College.

Looks like the old oddball Suzuki X-90. A lot of work done to it for what it was stock. My guess, is he is running Toyota drivetrain or axles at a minimum. Real rare, I think they made em for a year or two in mid nineties. Not my thing, but each his own.
