Stolen TJ

Last Monday woke up walked to where my jeep was parked and nothing. Called the apartment complex, the police, check every were for it and nothing. Now it's official it's been decided my jeep has been stolen. Sucks it made it all the way out from Maryland and now that I'm here it's gone. It is a burgundy TJ 4 " lift, roof rack, and other good stff. I miss it like crazy. I want another one. An LJ or a 4foor. Who knows...

Damn..pretty Jeep.

I invested in an alarm this year and I move my Jeep every night so it sits right in front of my window..and I still sleep with an eye open.

Thanks man. That was my pride and joy. It had my blood sweat and tears. It made the journey from Maryland to San Diego. It saw Moab, denver, Vegas, obx, raush creek, big dogs, peter mills run and ocotillo wells. My jeep was a super transformer. One day was hauling stuff the other it had 5 people as a DD. From fully covered to playing naked and being free. I'm looking forward to see what happens and what adventures a new jeep brings. I miss it.

:-( I completely understand. Mine is my DD as well. Not only would I lose my mind if anything happened to her, I'd be screwed. The more anti theft devices, the better.

I wish you the best and I know you will find another jeep You'll love just as much.

Lorie :-)

I miss my jeep so much. I keep looking around for jeeps and on the highway or the aorking lots I see a lifted jeep I get all emotional. Hahaha I went to glamis to show my family and driving the rental was just a tease. Btw my license plate was from Virginia and it was the 9/11 memorial one with "TJ&KJ" on it

Holy crap!!! We live in the same apartment complex. My jeep was stolen outside building 2609 (right turn from the leasing office) it was no more than 100ft from my front door. I still live at the same complex but further back. I had poster everywhere when my jeep was stolen. Surprisingly I haven't seen your jeep at all in the complex you must live on the left side of the leasing office. Did you let the leasing office know?

Perhaps they are targeting jeeps that have out of state plates assuming they are military because thieves know we can't cross the border. I had FL plates. I'm livid now that's 2 jeeps in same apartment complex. It's not ghetto by all means I mean I pay $2000 for a 1 bedroom. SMH

Small world. You have the white JK? When I told the apartment complex they told me about someone's jeep had gotten stolen a couple of months before mine. I'm in 2621. I'm right of the leasing office when you come in. My apt over looks the pool. Did your ever found you jeep? it was my third night in the apt complex. Yes they know and one of the girls that works there was planning on moving in but now she is scared and concerned. she was in shock because it's such a quiet area it's not a busy street or anything. Well if you ever need anything stop by. Apt 414

Yes they are targeting jeeps. When I made the first call to the department in the police that handles loss vehicles and such the guy who answered my phone said his TJ had gotten stolen 2 years ago and now he owns a JK (wouldn't surprise me he is in one the forums) and that there issued to be a gang or ring that only stole wranglers. When you think about it they are so easy to break in, specially soft tops. I had Virginia plates. And yes it's not ghetto at all. It's a really nice area.

It has to be. 2 jeeps from the same apartment complex in less than 6 months. Yes when I found out about all that I told the police. But I still haven't heard from them and ok sure I won't it's been 3 weeks already. Either it's in Mexico or it's been parted out by now

Next jeep for sure. I have a garage as well but it's tiny no self respecting jeep fits in there. Lol. I have definitely learned my lesson. I lived in the ghetto in southern Maryland for 3 years. Crack heads and everything would walk around the parking lot and nothing was ever stolen from my jeep. It would sleep with the door off for a whole week. Moved to a nice aparment complex here in San Diego and 3 days in. Stolen jeep... 2013 was such a bad year for me I'm even smiling thinking about everything that happened.

Now that's funny..I didn't have my Jeep stolen but a few of my friends said the same thing about me. Bad year. One thing after another..

To a better 2014

Yes the jeep will fit in the garage lol I'm thinking about parking my 350z outside and parking the jeep in the garage lol. FYI a week after my jeep got stolen I called the cops because of 3 suspicious individuals. To make a story short 1 got arrested and is in jail. The girl that was in the SUV was the wife of the guy arrested, 1 fled. I got subpoena to go to court but before I could go to court the judge already made his ruling. The cop said he has prior records. They thank me for saving the apartment complex perhaps another burglary or stolen vehicles. I need to be more vigilant and start carrying a weapon when I walk my dogs because apparently they are still more of them.
